I am originally from Wallasey in
the north west of England. After four years full-time study at art
college I began my professional career as a tutor in painting, drawing
and basic design, then moved into the field of graphic design and
advertising and built a career around my visualising skills. Meanwhile
I continued to paint and draw in my own time.
In the 1970s I moved to Brisbane, Australia and enjoyed a successful
career as a design director, illustrator and artist. I spent 1999
and 2000 in UK where I worked as a design consultant, graphic designer
and illustrator. While working with Benoy Architects and Masterplanners
in Newark and London I developed a distinctive style for architectural
visuals and continue to provide Benoy and many other clients with
illustrations produced in my studio in Brisbane. |
